We Happy Few Puppets was created in 2019 by the founder Millz Wise during their time at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. The entire ethos of the company is to explore the more unusual side of puppetry and animation, straying away from conventions and challenging what is ‘normal’.
There is something very beautiful about performances that make you uncomfortable or at the very least make you question your role in this world. This is a very important part of puppetry to us at We Happy Few Puppets as we're already performing in a medium that pushes the senses, so why not open the mind up a little bit more? If you want something that makes you think, we'll have it for you.
We want to bring you intimate and thought provoking performances that will leave you with a tingle in your spine.
MEET THE TEAM
Millz is our resident puppet maker and puppeteer having recently devised and directed our show, A Life in Letters. They studied puppetry at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama which is where they found their flare for the unusual. Their favourite colour is purple.
Holly is our wonderful producer of the company and has just graduated from the London Film Academy. She is a vital member of the team, making sure the production and all the lead up runs smoothly and she gives incredible hugs.
